Breast revision surgery can be a powerful treatment for a deformity or asymmetry due to previous breast surgery. Sometimes the previous procedure may have been performed well, but due to natural aging and settling of the breast tissue over time, the shape and size may change, which could benefit from a revision to restore the breast to a more rejuvenated state. Regardless of the cause, since the natural breast baseline has been altered previously, these procedures can occasionally be challenging.

Depending on the deformity, there are several techniques to return the breast to an aestheticially pleasing appearance. Surgery usually involves rearranging the breast tissue to create a nice shape and re-draping the overlying tissue appropriately. During your consultation, Dr. Tsai will present you with all the possible options in detail and work with you to individualize treatment according to your specific goals and expectations to provide you with the best possible result.

Procedure

Depending on how much breast revision needs to be performed, the surgical procedure typically takes 1-2 hours to complete and is performed under general anesthesia (fully asleep) in the adjacent surgicenter. Recovery is short and patients return home the same day as the procedure so transportation will need to be arranged. Your first checkup will be the following day in clinic. Bandages are removed several days after the procedure and patients usually return to normal daily activities within 1-2 weeks. Pain is tolerated with prescribed oral pain medication. Exercise is resumed approximately 4-6 weeks after the procedure.

  Love love LOVED my experience (I got a primary Rhinoplasty) with Dr. Tsai and his staff! Everyone made me feel so comfortable throughout my experience, and were always available whenever I️ had a question before/after surgery.   I hit the one month mark of my breast augmentation with Dr. Tsai & I am beyond thrilled with the results!!! I went with a 205 cc implant & it’s the perfect amount of fullness I was looking for as I still want to live an active lifestyle.   I found Dr Tsai on Instagram and I am so Thankful I did! I had a consultation with 1 Dr in person and 4 virtual in total. Dr Tsai was my 3rd. The first in-person Dr wanted to do an anchor lift and do the lift first then the implants 3-6 months later. He also said he could not fit more than 605 cc's which I really didn't want a big visible scar and wanted the largest offered in silicone 800 cc's. The second Dr said he might be able to do the 695 possibly a lil larger. When I had my virtual appt with Dr Tsai, he was confident he could do the 800 with no problems and without having to do the any lift. He listened to what my concerns were and what I wanted and with complete honesty told me that because I wanted it above the muscle there was a chance I could have rippling or the implant may be noticeable.  But that because I had dense skin I should be OK. He made me feel comfortable in my decision while letting me know the possible risks. But his confidence in his work was what gave me faith that everything would be just as I wanted. I am very happy with my results. The tear drop "natural" look I wanted was achieved.  They look amazing. I read Dr Tsia's reviews and had no fear of complications or not achieving the look I was going for. I'm so glad I did my research and that he was the only Dr that believed I didn't need a lift and could give me the largest size offered. A friend of a friend went to, from what I am told, a very well known Dr in Vegas and had 3 surgeries in 2 months. Because there were complications and her incision would not heal, got infected and her implant was ruptured after a fall, after the 2nd surgery, then they removed and replaced it, and had to remove one then the other. She is now waiting to get them both put back in again. After hearing stories like this and reading this Vegas Dr's reviews and others complaining of similar issues.  I am so happy Dr Tsai is a great Dr with Great Bedside Manner and Amazing work. I would recommend him over all the others.
